9. Ground to Air and Air to Ground Combat
All guns fire simultaneously at the end of each turn. No gun may fire at more than one target.
Ground AA batteries:
Count range to target in hexes. Each level counts as one hex.

All "0s" are also crew hits Target must be both in range and visible to be hit. AA batteries declare a single plane as the target. All guns in a battery must fire at the same target. The flak train counts each car as a battery. Ground batteries can fire in any direction regardless of facing.
Ground batteries can take as many hits as there are models on the stand. They continue to fire at full effect until completely destroyed. Train cars take five hits and the engine takes ten hits.
Ground batteries do NOT take size modifications into consideration.
B-24 guns at ground targets.
Range and position/angle of guns exactly the same as in air to air combat.
The dorsal (top) turret can only fire at a ground target if the target is on a tall structure and the bomber is in the low altitude band, or the target is four or more hexes away.
All Aircraft:
Whenever ANY plane flies over a town hex in the low or middle band roll 3d10. A 9 or 10 indicates a hit on that plane.
